Counsel must review, revise and approve every part of this working draft before launch; it is not advice and binds no one until approved and published.
Draft v1 · prepared 2026-10-09 · Every placeholder is in [brackets]. Notes for counsel are marked [Counsel: …].
This file holds five documents:
- Official Rules — "PG1 x Barstool Giveaway" (the Sweepstakes)
- Part A — Official Rules — "Worst Swing in Barstool Nation" Contest
- Part B — "$50 Paid-Plan Offer" Terms
- Part C — "Referral Program" Terms
- Short rules for the page (plain-English summary for the landing page)
OFFICIAL RULES — PG1 x BARSTOOL GIVEAWAY
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. OPEN ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE 18 OR OLDER.
Sponsor: BlackFish Media, LLC d/b/a Performance Golf Zone, [street address], Fort Lauderdale, Florida [ZIP] ("Sponsor" or "Performance Golf").
Administrator: [Administrator name and address, e.g., the giveaway platform vendor], or Sponsor if no administrator is named ("Administrator").
Promotional partner: Barstool Sports, Inc. [Counsel: confirm the correct Barstool entity name] and its shows, including Fore Play, Pardon My Take and Spittin' Chiclets (together, "Barstool Sports"), promote the Sweepstakes under a paid partnership with Sponsor. Barstool Sports is not the sponsor or administrator of this Sweepstakes. Barstool Sports does not select winners, award prizes or handle entrant data on Sponsor's behalf.
Platforms: This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Barstool Sports, Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok Inc., Google LLC (YouTube) or X Corp. Each entrant fully releases those companies from any and all liability in connection with this Sweepstakes. Questions or comments about the Sweepstakes go to Sponsor, not to any of them. [Counsel: confirm "endorsed" is accurate for Barstool Sports, since its talent will deliver paid promotional reads for the Sweepstakes.]
Definitions used in these Official Rules:
- "Promotion Page" means [PAGE URL], the PG1 x Barstool partnership page, and its entry section at [PAGE URL]#win.
- "Promotion Links" means the show links trypg1.com/foreplay, trypg1.com/pmt and trypg1.com/chiclets, [trypg1.com/barstool], any QR code Sponsor publishes for the Sweepstakes (including at the Barstool Classic), and the Promotion Page itself.
- "Entry Form" means the free online entry form on the Promotion Page.
- "PG1" means Sponsor's PG1 game-improvement app and membership.
1. No purchase necessary; void where prohibited
No purchase, payment, subscription or free trial is necessary to enter or win. A purchase, payment, subscription or free trial does not improve any entrant's chances of winning. Every way to enter that involves PG1 or a purchase has a free way to enter that earns the same number of entries, in the same time window, for the same prizes and drawings (see Section 4).
The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
The "Worst Swing in Barstool Nation" Contest is a separate skill contest governed by Part A. The $50 Paid-Plan Offer (Part B) is a promotional offer, not a prize, and is not part of the Sweepstakes.
2. Promotion period
- Sweepstakes Period: begins October 13, 2026 at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") and ends December 15, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET.
- BFCM Bonus Window: November 27, 2026 at 12:00:00 a.m. ET through December 1, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET (see Section 4.4).
- Mail-in deadline: Base Entry mail-in cards must be postmarked by December 10, 2026 and received by December 15, 2026 (see Section 4.1(d)).
- Each drawing has its own entry cutoff, listed in Section 5.
Sponsor's computer is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes. All times are Eastern Time, which changes from daylight to standard time on November 1, 2026.
3. Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open only to individuals who, at the time of entry:
- live in one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia; and
- are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in their state of residence if that age is higher.
Not eligible: officers, directors, employees and contractors of Sponsor, Barstool Sports, Administrator, and each of their parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates, and their advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies; participating Barstool Sports talent; JT Thomas; and the immediate family members (spouse or domestic partner, parents, children, siblings, and each of their spouses) and household members of each of these people, whether or not related.
One person, one email. Each entrant may use only one email address and one identity for the whole Sweepstakes. Entries made with more than one email address, under multiple identities, or through any device or service meant to get around these limits will be void, and the entrant may be disqualified.
Account holder. If there is a dispute about who submitted an entry, the entry is deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address used. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned that email address by the email provider or organization that issued it. A potential winner may be asked to show proof of being the authorized account holder.
4. How to enter
There are several ways to earn entries. Every limit below is per person for the whole Sweepstakes Period. No one is required to tag, share, follow, like, comment on, or post anything on any social media platform to enter or earn entries. Social media posts are not entries.
4.1 Base Entry — 5 entries, once per person
Each eligible person may earn one Base Entry worth five (5) entries during the Sweepstakes Period by any one of the following methods. Each method earns exactly the same five (5) entries. Using more than one method does not earn additional Base Entry entries.
(a) Start a free PG1 trial through a Promotion Link. Start a free PG1 trial through a Promotion Link using the same email address you use for the Sweepstakes. No payment is required to start the trial. [Counsel/PG: confirm the trial still requires no payment card, as the PG1 product page stated on October 8, 2026.] If Sponsor's system cannot automatically match your trial to an entry, you will be shown a prefilled Entry Form to confirm your entry. Canceling the trial does not cancel entries already earned.
(b) Buy a paid PG1 plan through a Promotion Link. Buy a paid PG1 plan (Monthly, Annual or PG1 Founders Lifetime) through a Promotion Link, either without a trial or by ending a free trial and paying. A paid plan earns the same five (5) entries as every other Base Entry method, and never more. The separate $50 Paid-Plan Offer that comes with a qualifying paid plan is governed by Part B; it is not a Sweepstakes prize and does not affect entries or odds.
(c) Free online Entry Form. Complete and submit the Entry Form on the Promotion Page with your first name and email address, confirm that you meet Section 3, and agree to these Official Rules. The question "Which show sent you?" is used for reporting only and does not affect entries or odds. The optional box to receive Performance Golf marketing emails is unchecked by default; checking it is not required and does not affect entries or odds.
(d) Free mail-in entry. Hand-print your full name, street address, city, state, ZIP code, email address, phone number and date of birth, and the words "PG1 x Barstool Giveaway — Base Entry," on a 3" x 5" card. Mail it in a stamped envelope to:
PG1 x Barstool Giveaway — Base Entry
[PO Box or mail-in address]
[City, State ZIP]
Limit one card per envelope. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by December 10, 2026 and received by December 15, 2026. Each eligible card earns five (5) entries, subject to the once-per-person Base Entry limit. Mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete, postage-due or late cards are void. Mail-in entries are credited to every drawing whose entry cutoff (Section 5) falls after the card is received and processed. [Counsel: confirm processing timing language; Sponsor will log cards at least weekly.]
4.2 Exit pop-up email — 1 entry, once per person
Submit your email address in the email pop-up on the Promotion Page to earn one (1) entry, once per person. The discount code sent in response to the pop-up is a separate promotional offer, not a Sweepstakes prize. [Counsel: approve the pop-up's wording on whether the email address joins Sponsor's marketing list; see Section 11.]
4.3 Referral bonus — 2 entries per qualified referral, up to 10
After your first entry, you will receive a personal referral link (trypg1.com/r/[code]). You earn two (2) bonus entries for each friend who completes a Base Entry through your link and qualifies under Part C, up to a maximum of ten (10) referral bonus entries (five (5) qualified referrals). Self-referrals and duplicate email addresses do not count. Part C governs the referral program.
4.4 BFCM Bonus Entries — up to 20, November 27 to December 1 only
During the BFCM Bonus Window only, an entrant may earn up to twenty (20) BFCM Bonus Entries by either or both of the following methods. The 20-entry cap applies to the total from both methods combined.
(a) Purchase. Earn one (1) entry for every $25.00 of qualifying merchandise subtotal on orders placed at [performancegolf.com / shop.performancegolf.com] during the BFCM Bonus Window with the same email address used for the Sweepstakes. The qualifying subtotal is the product subtotal after all discounts, excluding taxes, shipping, gift cards [and PG1 subscription plans — PG to confirm], rounded down to the nearest $25.00 per order. Entries for an order that is canceled or returned before the drawing in which the entries would count are void. A purchaser who has not yet entered may submit the free Entry Form at any time before the end of the Sweepstakes Period, and purchase entries will then be credited.
(b) Free request — same 20 entries. No purchase is needed to earn the full 20 BFCM Bonus Entries. During the BFCM Bonus Window, either:
- click "Request free bonus entries" on the Entry Form, which earns twenty (20) entries once per person; or
- hand-print the information listed in Section 4.1(d) and the words "BFCM Free Bonus Request" on a 3" x 5" card and mail it, one card per envelope, to the address in Section 4.1(d). Cards must be postmarked between November 27 and December 1, 2026 and received by December 10, 2026. Each eligible card earns twenty (20) entries, once per person.
[Counsel: a purchase made on November 27 counts in the November 30 drawing, while a mailed free request may arrive later. Confirm whether to credit mailed BFCM requests only to drawings after receipt (as drafted, consistent with Section 4.1(d)) or to backdate them to the postmark date.]
4.5 SwingScan bonus — [if enabled]
[If enabled: Earn one (1) bonus entry per calendar week (Monday through Sunday) in which you complete at least one SwingScan in the PG1 app while signed in with the email address you use for the Sweepstakes, up to a maximum of nine (9) SwingScan bonus entries. An entrant who does not use PG1 may earn the same one (1) bonus entry per calendar week, up to nine (9), by [submitting a short description of their golf swing through the Entry Form]. Counsel: confirm the free equivalent and whether PG1 can report SwingScan completions by email.]
4.6 Entry limits and conditions
- Maximum entries per person: five (5) Base Entry + one (1) pop-up + ten (10) referral + twenty (20) BFCM = thirty-six (36), or forty-five (45) if the SwingScan bonus is enabled.
- No automated entries. Entries made by script, macro, bot, robotic or automated means, bulk upload, or any third-party entry service are void, and the entrant may be disqualified.
- One pool. All entries go into one pool for each drawing, whichever show, link or method the entrant used.
- Entries that are incomplete, false, late, garbled or otherwise not compliant with these Official Rules are void.
- Sponsor is not responsible for failing to credit entries where an entrant used a different email address for a trial, plan or order than for the Sweepstakes. Any entrant may confirm their entries by submitting the free Entry Form.
- All entries become Sponsor's property. Mail-in entries will not be acknowledged or returned.
- Proof of submitting or mailing an entry is not proof of receipt.
5. Drawings and odds
Sponsor or Administrator will conduct random drawings from all eligible entries received by each drawing's entry cutoff. Drawings take place on or about the dates below.
| Drawing date | Entry cutoff | Prizes drawn |
|---|---|---|
| Monday, October 26, 2026 | Sunday, October 25, 11:59:59 p.m. ET | 1 × PG1 Founders Lifetime Membership |
| Monday, November 23, 2026 | Sunday, November 22, 11:59:59 p.m. ET | 1 × PG1 Founders Lifetime Membership |
| Monday, November 30, 2026 | Sunday, November 29, 11:59:59 p.m. ET | 1 × PG1 Founders Lifetime Membership |
| Monday, December 7, 2026 | Sunday, December 6, 11:59:59 p.m. ET | 1 × PG1 Founders Lifetime Membership |
| Thursday, December 17, 2026 | Tuesday, December 15, 11:59:59 p.m. ET | Grand Prize |
- Entries carry forward. Non-winning entries remain eligible for every later drawing in the Sweepstakes Period, including the Grand Prize drawing.
- One Sweepstakes prize per person. Each person may win only one Sweepstakes prize. Once a person is selected as a potential winner and the prize is accepted, that person's remaining entries are removed from all later drawings. The winner of the Contest (Part A) may also win one Sweepstakes prize.
- Odds. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for each drawing.
- Sponsor's or Administrator's decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
6. Prizes
Five (5) Sweepstakes prizes will be awarded, with a total approximate retail value ("ARV") of $2,996. Together with the one (1) Contest prize under Part A (ARV $599), the total ARV of all prizes in the Promotion is $3,595.
| Prize | Number | ARV each | Total ARV |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grand Prize: 2-hour golf lesson with PG coach JT Thomas, plus a travel allowance of up to $600 | 1 | $1,400 | $1,400 |
| PG1 Founders Lifetime Membership | 4 | $399 | $1,596 |
| Sweepstakes total | 5 | $2,996 | |
| Contest prize (Part A): PG1 Founders Lifetime Membership plus a 30-minute video lesson with PG coach JT Thomas | 1 | $599 | $599 |
| Total, all prizes | 6 | $3,595 |
6.1 Grand Prize (1) — ARV $1,400
- Lesson. One (1) two-hour, in-person golf lesson with PG coach JT Thomas at a facility chosen by Sponsor [in the Miami, Florida or Brooklyn, New York area], on a date and time agreed by Sponsor, JT Thomas and the winner. The lesson must be scheduled at least 45–60 days in advance and completed by [March 31, 2027]. The lesson is valued at $800, based on JT Thomas's published rate of $400 per hour. Sponsor pays any facility or range fee for the lesson. [PG to confirm.]
- Travel allowance. Up to $600 toward the winner's travel to the lesson, for the winner only, booked by Sponsor [or reimbursed against receipts — PG to choose]. Sponsor selects carriers and lodging. Any guest travels at the guest's own expense. If the winner lives within [100] miles of the lesson location, no travel allowance is awarded. Any unused portion is forfeited and is not paid in cash. The winner must have valid government ID for travel and may be required to sign a travel release.
- Fallback (talent cancellation). If JT Thomas becomes unavailable for any reason, if the winner cannot travel, or if a date cannot be agreed by [February 15, 2027], Sponsor may substitute a two-hour live video lesson with JT Thomas (ARV $800, no travel allowance). If JT Thomas cannot deliver any lesson, Sponsor may substitute a lesson of equal or greater value with another Performance Golf coach. No other compensation will be awarded.
- All costs not listed above, including meals, incidentals, equipment, and travel beyond the allowance, are the winner's responsibility. Any difference between the stated ARV and the actual value is not awarded.
6.2 PG1 Founders Lifetime Membership (4 in the Sweepstakes; 1 in the Contest) — ARV $399 each
Each is a PG1 Founders Lifetime membership, valued at the retail price shown on the PG1 product page on October 8, 2026. It includes the benefits Sponsor offers PG1 Founders members, as described on the PG1 product page and in the PG1 terms of service, which may change. "Lifetime" means for as long as Sponsor operates the PG1 service. The membership is personal and non-transferable and is attached to the winner's PG1 account. If the winner already has a paid Monthly or Annual PG1 plan, Sponsor will upgrade it to Founders Lifetime, but prior payments will not be refunded. If the winner already holds a Founders Lifetime membership, Sponsor may award a substitute prize of equal or greater value.
6.3 General prize conditions
- No cash redemption, transfer or substitution of any prize by the winner, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor may substitute a prize, or part of a prize, of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable for any reason.
- Prizes are awarded "as is." Except where prohibited, Sponsor and the Released Parties make no warranty of any kind about any prize.
- Taxes. Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes on any prize. No single prize has an ARV of $2,000 or more, and the most one person can win (the Grand Prize plus the Contest prize) totals $1,999, so Sponsor does not expect to issue an IRS Form 1099 for any prize. Taxes may still be owed even when no Form 1099 is issued. Sponsor may request a winner's taxpayer information if required by law. [Counsel: confirm the 2026 $2,000 reporting threshold and per-payer aggregation.]
- No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded.
7. Winner notification and acceptance
- Potential winners will be notified by email (and may also be contacted by phone) at the contact details in the entry, within [three (3) business days] after each drawing.
- 72 hours. A potential winner must respond and return a signed Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability and (where lawful) Publicity Release within seventy-two (72) hours of the first notification attempt. The Grand Prize winner and any travel companion arrangement may also require a travel release.
- A potential winner is disqualified, and an alternate winner may be drawn from the remaining eligible entries for that drawing, if the potential winner: does not respond or return documents on time; is found ineligible; does not comply with these Official Rules; or has a prize notification returned as undeliverable. Sponsor may draw up to [three (3)] alternates per prize, after which the prize may go unawarded.
- A potential winner is not a confirmed winner until all verification is complete.
- Publicity. Except where prohibited, accepting a prize grants Sponsor and its promotional partner Barstool Sports the right to use the winner's name, city and state of residence, voice, image, likeness, biographical information and statements about the Sweepstakes for advertising and publicity, in any media, without further compensation or approval.
- The Grand Prize winner is expected to be announced once the prize is accepted, targeted for December 18, 2026.
8. Conditions; Sponsor's right to cancel or modify; tampering
- By entering, each entrant agrees to these Official Rules and to the decisions of Sponsor and Administrator, which are final and binding.
- Sponsor may disqualify anyone it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or any Promotion Link; acting in violation of these Official Rules; using multiple identities or email addresses; or acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
- If the Sweepstakes cannot run as planned because of a virus, bug, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, or any other cause beyond Sponsor's reasonable control that corrupts or affects its administration, security, fairness or integrity, Sponsor may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, or any drawing. If it does, Sponsor may award prizes by random drawing from among eligible, non-suspect entries received before the action, or as otherwise fair and permitted by law. [Counsel: add any state-required notice language.]
- CAUTION: Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the operation of the Sweepstakes may violate criminal and civil laws. If such an attempt is made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules is not a waiver of that term.
- If any provision of these Official Rules is held invalid or unenforceable, the other provisions remain in effect.
- In case of a conflict between these Official Rules and any advertising, show read, social post or other promotional material, these Official Rules govern.
9. Release and limitations of liability
Released Parties means: Sponsor and its parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates; Barstool Sports, its shows (including Fore Play, Pardon My Take and Spittin' Chiclets) and participating talent; JT Thomas and any other Performance Golf coach involved; Administrator; Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram); TikTok Inc.; Google LLC (YouTube); X Corp.; each of their advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies; and the officers, directors, employees, contractors and agents of each.
- Release. By entering, each entrant agrees to release, discharge and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, damages, losses and liability of any kind, including personal injury, death and property damage, arising out of or relating to participation in the Sweepstakes, or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, including any travel or lesson.
- Not responsible. The Released Parties are not responsible for: lost, late, incomplete, damaged, misdirected, illegible or postage-due entries or mail; incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by entrants, equipment or programming; technical, hardware, software, network, telephone or connection failures or malfunctions; unauthorized human intervention; errors in the administration of the Sweepstakes or processing of entries; printing or typographical errors in any Sweepstakes materials; or any injury or damage to any person's computer or device related to participating in the Sweepstakes.
- Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so some of the above may not apply to every entrant.
10. Disputes
Except where prohibited:
- Governing law. These Official Rules and the Sweepstakes are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
- Venue. Any dispute arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes or any prize must be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida, and each entrant consents to the jurisdiction of those courts.
- No class actions. Each dispute must be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.
- Limited remedies. Any claims, judgments and awards are limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred to enter the Sweepstakes, and in no event include attorneys' fees.
- No other damages. No entrant may obtain an award of, and each entrant waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential or indirect damages, or to have damages multiplied or increased.
- Each entrant waives any right to seek injunctive or other equitable relief, or to rescind these Official Rules.
11. Privacy
- Sponsor collects personal information from entrants, including name, email address and (for mail-in entries) postal address, phone number and date of birth. Sponsor uses it to administer the Sweepstakes, verify eligibility, credit entries and referrals, award prizes, and send messages about the Sweepstakes, such as entry confirmations, referral links and winner notices.
- Information is handled under Sponsor's Privacy Policy at [PRIVACY POLICY URL]. In case of a conflict between that policy and these Official Rules, these Official Rules govern for the Sweepstakes.
- Marketing opt-in is separate and optional. Sponsor will send Performance Golf marketing emails only to entrants who check the optional, unchecked opt-in box, [or who are told plainly in the email pop-up that their address joins Sponsor's marketing list — counsel to approve wording]. Opting in or not has no effect on entries or odds.
- Every marketing email from Sponsor will include a working unsubscribe link and Sponsor's postal address, will use accurate sender and subject lines, and Sponsor will honor unsubscribe requests as required by the CAN-SPAM Act.
- Sponsor shares entrant information with Administrator and service providers that help run the Sweepstakes. Sponsor will share only [aggregate, de-identified reporting, such as entries by show,] with Barstool Sports, unless an entrant separately agrees otherwise. [Counsel/PG: confirm.] Sponsor does not sell entrant information.
- Sponsor does not collect mobile numbers for text messages in this Sweepstakes.
12. Winners list
For the names of the winners, available after [January 15, 2027], send an email to [winners-list email address] with the subject line "PG1 x Barstool Giveaway Winners," or mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to [PO Box or mail-in address], [City, State ZIP], marked "Winners List." Requests must be received by [March 15, 2027].
13. Sponsor and administrator
- Sponsor: BlackFish Media, LLC d/b/a Performance Golf Zone, [street address], Fort Lauderdale, Florida [ZIP].
- Administrator: [Administrator name, address].
- Questions: [support email address]. Do not send entries to this address; they will not be counted.
PART A — OFFICIAL RULES — "WORST SWING IN BARSTOOL NATION" CONTEST
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. THIS IS A CONTEST OF SKILL; CHANCE PLAYS NO PART IN SELECTING THE WINNER. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
Sponsor: BlackFish Media, LLC d/b/a Performance Golf Zone, [street address], Fort Lauderdale, Florida [ZIP]. Barstool Sports, including Spittin' Chiclets, is a promotional partner only and is not the sponsor, administrator or judge of this Contest.
Sections 3 (Eligibility), 8 (Conditions), 9 (Release and limitations of liability), 10 (Disputes), 11 (Privacy) and 13 (Sponsor and administrator) of the Sweepstakes Official Rules above also apply to this Contest, with "Contest" in place of "Sweepstakes."
A1. Submission period. Submissions open October 14, 2026 at 12:00:00 a.m. ET and close November 22, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET.
A2. How to enter. Upload one video of yourself swinging a golf club at [PAGE URL]#win (linked from trypg1.com/chiclets), with your first name, email address and an optional caption of up to [280] characters about your swing. Limit one (1) submission per person. Each submission must:
- show your own full swing, [10 to 30] seconds long, filmed [face-on or down-the-line];
- be your original work, filmed by you or by someone who has given you permission to submit it;
- include no other identifiable person unless that person is 18 or older and has given written permission, which Sponsor may ask to see;
- include no minors, nudity, profanity, alcohol or drug use, dangerous stunts, hateful or defamatory content, or copyrighted music;
- not focus on any third-party brand name or logo. Sponsor may decline to feature a submission that prominently displays one.
You do not need to post your video on social media. If you choose to post it publicly, label the post #contest. No tagging or sharing is required or rewarded.
A3. Judging. Between November 23 and December 1, 2026, a panel of [three (3)] Performance Golf coaches [names] will score each eligible submission from 1 to 10 on each of three equally weighted criteria:
| Criterion | What judges score (1–10) |
|---|---|
| Fixability | How clearly the swing shows a root flaw that a PG coach could correct with a focused practice plan |
| Clarity | How well the video shows the full swing: framing, angle, lighting, and impact or ball flight |
| Story | How well the video or caption conveys the entrant's golf struggle and readiness to improve, in a way fit for a general audience |
Each submission's score is the average of the judges' totals (maximum 30). The highest score wins.
- Tie-break: the higher Fixability score wins. If still tied, the higher Clarity score wins. If still tied, a Performance Golf coach not on the panel scores the tied submissions on Fixability alone. No tie is broken by chance.
- Barstool Sports talent (including Biz and Whit on Spittin' Chiclets) may react to finalist or other submissions on air or on social media. Those reactions are entertainment only and have no effect on judging.
- The judges' decisions are final.
A4. Prize (1) — ARV $599. One (1) winner receives a PG1 Founders Lifetime Membership (ARV $399; terms in Section 6.2 of the Sweepstakes rules) plus one (1) 30-minute live video lesson with PG coach JT Thomas (ARV $200, based on his published $400 hourly rate), to be completed by [March 31, 2027]. If JT Thomas is unavailable for any reason, Sponsor may substitute a 30-minute video lesson with another Performance Golf coach. No cash, transfer or substitution by the winner. The winner is responsible for all taxes. The Contest prize is included in the $3,595 total ARV stated in Section 6. The Contest winner may also win one Sweepstakes prize.
A5. Winner notification and reveal. The potential winner will be notified by email by December 2, 2026 and must accept and return a signed Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability, Publicity Release and confirmation of the license in A6 by December 3, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET. If the potential winner is disqualified or does not respond, the next-highest-scoring eligible submission becomes the potential winner. The winner is expected to be revealed on December 4, 2026.
A6. Video release and license. You keep ownership of your submission. By submitting, you grant Sponsor and its licensees, including its promotional partner Barstool Sports, a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, [perpetual] license to use, copy, edit, adapt, publish, display and distribute your submission, together with your first name, city and state, voice and likeness, in any media now known or later developed, to promote the Contest, the Sweepstakes, Performance Golf and PG1, without further compensation or approval, except where prohibited.
- You understand the Contest is named "Worst Swing in Barstool Nation" and agree that your submission may be shown with good-natured, humorous commentary, including reaction content by Barstool Sports talent.
- Sponsor is not obligated to use any submission.
- You confirm that your submission meets A2, that you have every right needed to grant this license, and that its use as permitted here will not infringe anyone's rights. You agree to indemnify the Released Parties against any claim that it does.
- [A non-winning entrant may ask Sponsor at [support email] to stop new uses of the submission on Sponsor's own channels after December 31, 2026.] [Counsel: consider limiting the license term for non-winners and for paid advertising.]
A7. Disqualification. Sponsor may disqualify any submission that does not meet these rules, appears to be copied or altered to misrepresent the swing, or is submitted by an ineligible person.
A8. Void where prohibited. [Counsel: re-verify current state rules on skill contests. No purchase or payment is required or accepted for this Contest.]
PART B — "$50 PAID-PLAN OFFER" TERMS
The $50 Paid-Plan Offer (the "Offer") is a promotional offer from BlackFish Media, LLC d/b/a Performance Golf Zone ("Sponsor"). It is not a sweepstakes prize, is not part of the Sweepstakes prize pool, and does not affect anyone's entries or odds. A qualifying paid plan earns the same five (5) Base Entry entries as a free trial, the free Entry Form or a mailed card, and never more. Barstool Sports does not make or fulfill the Offer.
B1. Who qualifies. A person qualifies who, between October 13, 2026 at 12:00:00 a.m. ET and December 15, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET, buys a paid PG1 plan (Monthly, Annual, or PG1 Founders Lifetime) through the Promotion Page or a Promotion Link, either:
- by going straight to a paid plan without a free trial; or
- by ending a free trial early and paying.
[OPTION — PG to decide: "Also qualifies: a person who starts a free PG1 trial through a Promotion Link during the same period and whose trial converts to a paid plan on or before December 15, 2026."]
[PG to confirm: the Offer is limited to a person's first paid PG1 plan, and existing paid PG1 members and plan renewals do not qualify.]
B2. What you get. One (1) unique, single-use code for $50 off a single order at [performancegolf.com / shop.performancegolf.com]. [Minimum order: none / $200 — PG to decide.]
B3. Delivery. The code is emailed to the address on the PG1 account within 24 hours of the first successful payment for the qualifying plan. Sponsor is not responsible for emails filtered as spam or undeliverable addresses. Contact [support email] if a code does not arrive.
B4. Expiry. The code expires December 31, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET. Expired codes will not be reissued or extended.
B5. Limits.
- One (1) code per customer (person and PG1 account).
- No cash value. Not redeemable for cash and no change given.
- Not valid on gift cards.
- Not combinable with any other code [or with the PG1 member discount — PG to decide].
- Non-transferable and not for resale. Codes obtained through fraud, multiple accounts or resale are void.
B6. Refunds and chargebacks. If the payment for the qualifying PG1 plan is refunded (including under Sponsor's money-back guarantee) or charged back, an unredeemed code is void. If the code was already redeemed, Sponsor may deduct $50 from the refund. [Counsel: confirm this is permitted alongside the advertised 365-day money-back guarantee.]
B7. Changes. Sponsor may end or change the Offer at any time by posting notice on the Promotion Page. Codes already issued will be honored under the terms in effect when they were issued, except in cases of fraud or abuse.
B8. General. Void where prohibited. Sponsor's decisions on eligibility for the Offer are final. Sponsor's Privacy Policy at [PRIVACY POLICY URL] applies.
PART C — "REFERRAL PROGRAM" TERMS
These terms govern referral links in the PG1 x Barstool Giveaway (the "Sweepstakes") run by BlackFish Media, LLC d/b/a Performance Golf Zone ("Sponsor"). They are part of the Sweepstakes Official Rules. Referring is never required and never requires a purchase.
C1. Your link. After your first entry, Sponsor gives you a personal referral link in the format trypg1.com/r/[code]. It works only during the Sweepstakes Period.
C2. What counts as a Qualified Referral. A friend counts as a Qualified Referral when the friend:
- is eligible under Section 3 of the Sweepstakes rules;
- has not previously entered the Sweepstakes by any method, and uses an email address not already registered;
- completes a Base Entry during the Sweepstakes Period through your link, by a free PG1 trial, a paid PG1 plan, or the free Entry Form; or mails a Base Entry card that has your referral code hand-printed on it.
C3. What you earn. Two (2) bonus entries for each Qualified Referral, up to ten (10) referral bonus entries (five (5) Qualified Referrals). You may keep sharing after that, but you earn no more referral entries. Your referred friend earns the same entries as any other entrant and nothing extra. Referral entries count in each drawing whose entry cutoff follows the date the referral is credited.
C4. Not allowed.
- Referring yourself, or anyone using another email address you control.
- Duplicate or fake email addresses, or accounts created to collect referral entries.
- Sending your link by spam, unsolicited bulk email, text messages to people who have not agreed to receive them, or automated messages.
- Paid ads, search ads or sponsored posts that use your link or any Performance Golf, PG1 or Barstool Sports name or mark.
- Posting your link on coupon, deal or "free stuff" sites.
- Saying or implying that you speak for Sponsor, Barstool Sports or any Barstool Sports talent, or making any false or misleading statement about the Sweepstakes.
- Offering anything of value to get people to use your link.
C5. Sharing honestly. You may share your link with people you know or in your own social posts, following each platform's rules. If you post your link publicly, make clear that you earn bonus entries when people enter through it, for example by adding #sweepstakes.
C6. Crediting. A referral is credited only after the friend's entry is verified. Sponsor's records are final on whether a referral qualifies.
C7. Sponsor's rights. Sponsor may revoke any referral link, void referral entries, or disqualify an entrant who breaks these terms. Sponsor may change or end the Referral Program at any time by posting notice on the Promotion Page. Referral entries already earned in good faith will be kept.
